Arturo & Liz | Anza Borrego Engagement

I need to make more time to get out to the desert. For me personally it is the perfect backdrop for any kind of shoot because of the clean neutral tones and soft greens. It makes any subject pop! I had such a joy with Art & Liz this evening in Anza. Their chemistry and comfort with each other made it so easy for me to capture their love. I mean— just look at em’!

Liz knew exactly what she wanted for this shoot and I have to give her all the credit for choosing the scene and the most incredible wardrobes to complete it. I wish that dusk would last for more hours of the day. We drove around Anza in her Jeep and found the most incredible lookout for sunset. We trekked a 4 mile off road path to get there! Yes, it was totally WORTH IT. 4-wheel drive for the win!

Marshall & Bre

Bre is one of my hometown friends I’ve known since middle school. She moved to Texas probably ten years ago now and I haven’t seen here since this month! These babes are 5 years married and totally crushing it. Bre’s in marketing and Marshall works for non-profits— this is a huge-hearted couple. Bre helped me pick out my very first camera through a Facebook message and I am forever grateful for where it took me. Thanks for pushing me forward Bre!
It was such a joy show them this gem of a place while they were here on a work trip. The sky was on fire, it was the prettiest sunset for us! Bumming we didn’t make it down to the water because of high tide. We tried but all the surfers were getting out and telling us to stay up, so I took their advice. We had the best view from up top and soaked in the golden hour. You Reeves are such a joy!

ps- California looks good on ya ;)

Brandon + Rachel

These two are mad for each other, the comfort and joy between them is unreal. I can’t get over how they compliment one another, it’s truly seamless.

THE CHEMISTRY y’all!!

Get this— it’s the smallest world how they met. Rachel’s hometown friend Carter from Atlanta moved out here to San Diego in the fall of 2017 and became roommates with Brandon. Carter orchestrated a group of his friends to get together on Saint Patrick’s Day where Rachel and Brandon’s worlds collided. Some might call it the luck of the Irish, but I’d like to see it as God’s plan. They got engaged the following December over the ocean at Windansea. I cannot wait to celebrate these two at their wedding in the harbor this summer! I’ll see ya’ll on the dance floor!

Heres to the almost Kaisers!
